    Julie was born in Cape May NJ and raised in Connecticut due to her father serving in the military branch Coast Guard. Her passion for food and hospitality began in the kitchen helping her mother with family events and grew early with her first job at a local hotel at the age of 16. After graduating high school, she attended The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. 

    Julie holds multiple degrees in Hospitality Management, Culinary Academy Certified Chef, awards to include B&I chef of the year for United Fresh Produce 2017, Uncle Ben's recipe contest winner and selected as Salaried manager of the year for the mid atlantic region 2015. Julie has broad hospitality experience from working in restaurants, hotels, banquets, country clubs, corporate business dining and event planning. Julie began working in corporate dining in Richmond, VA  in 2006.

    Julie and her husband live in Hanover County with their kids and fur babies. Julie enjoys trying new recipes, working in her garden, wine cork ideas and cruising.
